A member asked:

Immediate right eye ptosis due to glucose intake? inflammation around cranial nerve sheath causing osmolytic disbalnce? does it make sense? normal mri

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: A ptosis may indicate lack of sympathetic innervation, usually associated with a dilated, or meiotic pupil as well. Re start with not just an eye doc, but neuro=ophthalmologist. The metabolic stream you report does not make sense to me. A one sided problem needs to seek anatomic cause.
