No: But sometimes a lymph node biopsy will show that and there may be other nodes next to it that are lymphoma.

No...: The general answer is no. However, certain types of hyperplasia may accompany or precede lymphomas. For example, progressive transformation of germinal centers, a form of hyperplasia, has a known association with hodgkin lymphoma; however, most people with ptgc do not develop lymphoma. Other examples exist. Reactive hyperplasia is not a premalignant condition.
