Just had an MRI for calf pain. What does it mean by mild feathery edema within several muscles? also they found a cyst on back of my knee. Does it mean I have calf pain because of the cyst? I have pain after 5min of walking or standing?
Calf pain for a year. MRI report:Mild feathery edema within several muscles.. may be secondary to strains, overuse/delayed onset muscle soreness, a component of denervation. Q: if I had a Compartment syndrome, does it show on MRIs?
So if MRI was normal but may not show nerve damage from spinal and your in severe shooting pain what would it be? Muscle spasms or damaged nerve?
Is there a muscle injury that might cause swelling in lower part of the leg but nothing shows abnormal on MRI? Does MRI always show edema w/ injury?
My MRI shows focal myelomalacia involving the cervical cord at C5-C6. Severe spinal cord stenosis at C3-C4. Subtle cortical edema inferior to the sten?
