Pain of laser : The pain from a laser treatment, depends on the laser, the area being treated, pain control measures used before, during and after treatment if necessary, and of course, the patient. It is best to discuss pain and pain control with your treating physician. Best of luck!

Here's a few tricks.: Ice compresses or ice wrapped in a gauze or blowing cold air on your lip prior to treatment will help. Numbing creams can be applied. Distraction with a vibrating massager may also help.
