A member asked:

I was diagnosed with partisans in 2007. went to my gprs yesterday and he informed me that my ana was positive for lupus.. is it possible to have both?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: Anything is possible but remember the ANA is a nonspecific test and can be positive in numerous other diseases and even in normals. Why was the test done in the first place? If unsure about lupus, see a rheumatologist.
