A member asked:

Is coq 10 supplement good in the case of nash and liver inflammation and if yes then what is the safe dose needed and type if there is natural source?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I wouldn't do it: Coenzyme q which is much-hyped for almost everything these days failed a rat NASH study miserably (nutrition 2009) and altered serum lipoproteins in a way that the authors thought would accelerate atherosclerosis (j. Appl phys 2009). That's it as far as the real science goes. Don't reward people who didn't tell you this by buying their products. Hit the gym hard. Good luck & thanks for asking.
