Thistle w/fat liver: Per research milk thistle can help in some hepatitis. Treatment of fatty liver consists of lifestyle modification ; weight loss . exercise vaccination against hep B and A and avoidance of other liver toxins/drugs. Well....: cannot say in your particular case, but generally, milk thistle AT BEST has been shown ONLY to lowre the lab values of liver enzymes. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11847735
