A member asked:

My 8 weeks baby was on antibiotics up until 06/03/2013. she's due to have her first immnisation tomorrow. is it safe to go ahead?

Yes: There are only a few issues that would require a delay in immunizations. An early unstable infection or confusion over the diagnosis & worry that any added stress would worsen an infants condition would be a few. The issues you cite would not fall into that category.

It's perfectly safe: As long as your baby has no signs of severe infection such as high fever, there is no contraindication for immunizations.
