Not usually: Would certainly not be my first choice, and have never noticed it to be effective in migraine therapy. Many good choices, and might consider depakote, topirimate, naproxen, indomethacin, or otc riboflavin, co-q10, butterbur, feverfew; also, botox, acupuncture, occipital nerve blocks. Find a headache expert.

Not Likely: For best results, the headache needs to be correctly categorized. Sometimes, the ha has multiple characteristics which complicates the treatment and in some cases or allows the causes to be treated separately. It is most important to get the right type identified which helps affects the right preventive medicine. See a headache specialist to get these answers.
