A member asked:

Crp-34.2 , rf- +ve , esr-22...is it enough to say that i have rheumatoid arthritis otherwise what else(tests) can tell for sure whether i have or not?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The CCP antibody: First of all, the clinical presentation has to be compatible with ra. Testing merely confirms the clinical suspicion. The best test is the ccp antibody. The rf test is much more nonspecific.
