If you have an ulcer: The bacteria h. Pylori can, over some years and usually in older prople, lead to gastric lyphoma, or gastric cancer, but far more common is gastritis or peptic ulcer, which can sometimes be felt as mid-back pain. One needs to take rx to cure the h. Pylori and for continued symptoms, consider an upper endoscopy.
