Does omega 3 gain weight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Omega 3: Omega 3 is a kind of fatty acid. To gain weight from ingesting them you'd need to have a large daily intake of the foods containing them. If taking omega 3 supplements, you'd likely have to take them to excess. In and of themselves I am not aware they cause weight gain.
