Omega 3 capsules: Omega 3 capsules contain fat,an average of about 15 calories. Read the label of your capsules to determine how many calories a day you're consuming. 15 caps x 3 would only be 45 calories-- not a great amount. Some feel that omega 3 helps either dry or oily skin. Your pharmacist can probably give you more information about weight gain and also oily skin.

Omega 3 fatty acids: We don't know how many mg per day of Omega 3 fatty acids you are taking in. Omega 3 has been used to help some people who are on weight loss programs. The following may help to look at how Omega 3's impact weight/ metabolism. See: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/omega-3-fish-oil-and-weight-loss#TOC_TITLE_HDR_7
