The dr said my uters line look thick before my period why is that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Uterine lining: The uterine lining changes during your cycle. It is thick just before your period because it is preparing for a potential pregnancy to implant. If no pregnancy occurs then the lining sheds and you get your period or menses. The lining thins out and the cycle starts all over again.
