Itchy to itch free: You will become more itchy once treatment for scabies has started. Why? Your body is already reacting to the presence of the mites and mite poop. Once treatment starts to work, individual mites get broken down into many particles that the body reacts to even more. Hence, you will itch like crazy for the first 1-2 days on treatment and then you will be itch free!
