No: Having your tonsils removed as a teenager or adult can be one of the most uncomfortable post operative experiences one can have. Recovering from wisdom teeth removal can range from relatively painless to moderately uncomfortable depending on a number of variables. The important thing is to follow your instructions, use your ice packs and take your medications as prescribed.
