This week i noticed this rough patch in the soft palate of my mouth. it doesn't hurt unless i scratch it real hard. but i can feel it with my tongue. i also have something similar near right hinge inside my mouth (behind wisdom teeth). what is this?

No way to tell without a visual examination. Unfortunately many lesions present initially as rough patches. Please see your Dentist, a specialist Oral Surgeon, specialist Oral Pathologist, or Oral Medicine Specialist. Your local Dental Society should be able to provide you with a list of specialists in your area.
