A member asked:

Is it normal to get a weird taste in my mouth after my wisdom teeth extractions?

Yes: The sockets contain a blood clot and as these heal and dissolve it may taste metallic or "weird"".

Possible: There may be some slight bleeding following removal of any tooth for a few days. This will alter your taste. Also the sockets will require several weeks to heal. The use of a germ fighting mouthrinse such as listerine might improve your taste & aid with healing.
