Several: A kidney infection is different from a bladder infection (cystitis). It has gone higher up the urinary tract. For this reason, symptoms my be different. This is usually quite serious and may cause fever, chills, pain on the affected side in the upper back, nausea and vomiting and pain with urination. One may have pain inn the flank and along the gutter of the abdomen. Don't delay, get seen now.
