Possible gallstones: Pain after eating greasy, rich fatty food is a classic symptom of gallstones. The other possible causes include gastritis or a stomach ulcer. I would avoid these foods and make an appointment to see your doctor to get some tests done to find the cause. In the meantime you can also try zantac (ranitidine) or Prilosec otc, but definitely follow up with a doctor sooner rather than later.
