Acne scars difficult: Early acne scars as with pigment changes may show improvement spontaneously or with various treatments such including chemical peels and laser treatments. When the scarring is chronic with fibrosis and contour changes treatment is much more difficult, but typically involves a combination of resurfacing procedures such as dermabrasion or ablative laser, injectable fillers and surgical excision.
