Stay active: There is really not a lot you can do to make the bone heal faster, except certainly to avoid things that can. Delay bone healing such as the use of nicotine or antiinflammatories. Much of the recovery is not so much the bone healing but the stiffness and atrophy that occurs with it, so try to stay as active as possible within your prescribed restrictions. Bone stimulation: Apart from creating good conditions for healing such as having enough calcium and vitamin d (1.5 g of calcium und 800 units of vit d taken in 2 or three doses over a day), is an ultrasound bone stimulator (exogen). However i need more info to give you good advice (surgery or not, cast or brace, therapy etc).
