Ice Cream after 3 hr: 1st 3 hours - bite firmly on cotton and hold ice against that side of the face. After 3 hours - no more biting on cotton, no more ice, eat ice cream. Next 2 days - warm foods and drinks.

It depends: Most people start with liquids because of the anesthesia. If you are able to keep the liquids down you can then move on to soft foods. Just remember to avoid any hot foods until the numbness wares off. After the numbness goes away, you can eat whatever you feel like. Some people i talk to are eating pizza the next day and some people eat jello for a week.
