Not necessarily: Some degree of anxiety is what leads us to act to change our situation or accomplish our goals. Anxiety becomes detrimental when you feel so overwhelmed that you are no longer able to function adequately. The amount of anxiety we experience is based on our perception of our environment. Age 30 is often a time of increased responsibility and obligations which could increase anxiety.
