Panic attacks ??: It could very well be panic attacks when you are alone at night. During the day being busy your attention is to your visual surrounding. May be at night you have certain thoughts or fears which are precipitating those attacks. Best advice is to see a psychiatrist to discuss these issues and offer you a treatment.
