Eat 1everyday: Bananas are excellent for your health. Many fruits have sugar content which is relatively high when compared to their vegetable counterparts. However, when compared to typical processed food products, the sugar content in fruits is low.

Bananas & sugar: There are internet ads telling you to "never eat a banana" because of the sugar content. The fear is creating Insulin resistance, leading to more fat storage than fat burning. Like dr. Linnell says, bananas do contain fruit sugar -- but none of the additives in processed foods! consider them a relatively healthy dessert, & eat some protein & healthy fat @ same time to slow the sugar spike.
