Standard tests: There are a number of different standardized tests that have been made to differentiate between disorders like add, odd, conduct disorders, anxiety disorders, childhood depression - the list goes on.All of these can cause behavioral symptoms. You need to find a pediatrician who has a special interest in behavioral problems, or a developmental pediatrician or pediatric psychiatrist to help sort out.

ADD/BEHAVIOR: Add are manifested by: short attention span in class, restlessness, poor grades, ld, etc. Behavior problems are outburst of anger, disobedience, out of respect, etc. They are referred for counselling in a mental health clinic.

I agree, if you have: Concerns, ask his pediatrician for parent & teacher questionnaires like the Vanderbilt or Conners. Take the completed forms & your child to his doctor to begin an assessment. Disruptive behaviors are treated by behavior modification techniques, whether associated with adhd, anxiety learning disabilities, etc., or not. Seek referral to a child psychologist for help with effective methods.
