Possibly: Having a dropping HCG level with bleeding is concerning. Consider repeating in 48hrs to see if levels still dropping--if so, discuss with your doctor. That finding is likely consistent with an abnormal pregnancy.

Family practice: Any viable pregnancy should have an increase in hcg. A miscarriage is your body ridding itself of a non viable fetus.
