Several options: "high anxiety" sounds serious. Have you been seen by a reputable physcian/mental health provider? Ssri's have become the mainstay for the treatment of anxiety. There are many other medicaitons are also very valuable. Anxiolytic drugs in the benzo class can help but not always best. There are others. See your doctor or mental health provider and get a good eval and recommedations.

Medications: There are several medication you can take for anxiety. Depending on the level and type of anxiety your doctor can recommend ssri and/or benzodiazepines.
