I got acl/meniscus surgery 4 months ago.just started running last week and now its started to make a grinding noise when i unbend it. it hurts to flex?

See surgeon: Grinding noises in the knee alone is not a cause for concern but it it is a assoicaited with pain esp. On straightening the knee out it could represent inflammation between the patella and femur (chondromalacia patella). Some acl repairs use part of the infra patella tendon. See your doc for exam and advice.

ACL/meniscus: Of concern, check with your orthopedic surgeon. Consider notch impingement on acl, retear of acl, retear or new tears of menisci, loose body, synovitis.
