Denture Adhesive: There is no known risk of hardening of the arteries with long term use of denture adhesive. Some adhesives do contain zinc which if ingested in large amounts can cause anemia.

No: There is no concern using denture adhesive and cardiovascular disease. Other than the mess and some local gum irritation, it is safe to use. They recently recalled denture adhesives because of the zinc contained in them. There was a connection with a nerve disorder and long term use of adhesives containing zinc. Now they only sell zinc free adhesives.

Not the new ones: New ones without zinc can be used over and over for many years with safety.

Nothing reported: Nothing reported in the literature but you must be aware of zinc in the denture adhesives. Zinc is linked with neurological problems.
