Why?: Braces are fixed, not removable, appliances. If a fixed brace has come loose see your orthodontic specialist asap. If you have been fitted for a removable orthodontic appliance and it doesn't fit well, wearing an ill-fitting appliance can cause harm. See your orthodontist. If you feel you must use denture adhesive, just follow the package directions.

You don't : Denture adhesive has no practical use with braces. It s not strong enough to hold on broken braces. If you are having a problem with loose bands and/or brackets see your orthodontist, so they can repair things properly.

NO "do-it-yourself": Dental adhesives are a type of dental glue designed to keep removable dentures firmly in place, but not a braces. You should make an appointment and have the orthodontist to fix it. There's nothing you can use to "do-it-yourself" if you have a broken braces.
