L sided abd pain between end of ribs and hip x's 2 days. no nausea, vomiting, fever, or change in bowel patterns, tender on palp. diverticulitis?

Unlikely: Without fevers, or chills, i think it is unlikely this is due to diverticulitis. Other sources could be a kidney stone or a rare type of a hernia. Other likely causes would be just routine muscle strain.
