Topical steroids : The first thing is that you should limit wiping with abrasive wipes-water is good to wipe food away. Moisterization of all skin is essential. I like cerave for wash & cerave lotion. This creates a barrier that protects skin from irritants. If those changes don't work, rx class 6-7 topical steroids twice daily to area x 2 weeks should help calm inflammation.Use sparingly and can alt w protopic0.03%.

Are you sure: That it is eczema? Who made the diagnosis? A lot of times rashes on the face are due to irritation from food/ protein/ milk/ saliva/ pacy / cradle cap/ us hugging and kissing the little ones . Without seeing it, it is hard to suggest what to do. But I am comfortable telling you to apply aquaphor ointment on the affected areas to protect and moisten the skin. Get your pediatrician to diagnose it.
