Excedrin migraine: is a good choice or Advil (ibuprofen) migraine, both of which are OTC and seem to work well in some patients.

Migraine Rx: About half of people with occasional migraine find excedrin migraine or advil helpful for relieving their migraine headache symptoms. They may also find ibuprofen to be helpful. It is best to take these within 15-30 minutes of headache onset. People who do not find these helpful may need a prescription headache treatment however.

Several: Excedrin migraine may stop the headache, but prevention is even more available, such as riboflavin, butterbur, Co-Q10, magnesium, or feverfew. All of these are available OTC
