Keep thinking i have kidney pain. would a starndard urinalysis indicate if an enlarged prostate might be causing pain or damage to the kidney?

No: Are urinalysis may help in detecting kidney infection or disease but urinalysis may not be helpful in differentiating between prostate and kidney disease. Lab test bmp basic metabolic panel psa test and rectal exam by a physician can help in differentiating the diagnosis.
