See a MD: See a md to make sure that it is not a clot in your leg that can travel elsewhere. It could be as simple as varicose veins, but md eyes need to see to verify.

Vasodilation: Birth control medication can vasodilate the vasculature of the lower extremity. Or could be a reaction to the medication itself.
