Colon cancer . . .: After 50yo, we start screening for colon cancer in average risk patients. Detected too late, colon cancer can lead to unintended weight loss, change in stool & bowel obstruction. Classic signs of colon cancer are pencil thin or ribbon flat stool as stool is squeezed past obstruction. Go see your family doctor for an evaluation. If you're a healthy 99yo, you have many treatment options.
