Maybe: Being overweight has been shown to increase the risk of miscarriage. It may not be however the only reason as hypothyroidism has also been shown to cause miscarriage. A thorough evaluation by your gynecologist or fertility specialist should be done to see if there is an underlying cause and treat accordingly. Weight loss in general would improve your health as well as your reproductive outcomes.
