Yes: It sounds like the pressure reducing drops are working well for you, but the effect will quickly wear off if you stop them. You will most likely need to stay on drops or consider other treatment such as laser to control the pressure. If the pressure was temporarily high because of another eye problem or medication side effect, you may be able to go off drops.

Depends: Most likely yes, if the concern is for gluacoma. A pressure of 28 is usullay too high for most eyes. 14 is more approprialte and will most likely prevent glaucoma from starting or progressing. You will most likely need to continue to take them. The determination to stop or change how you treat and prevent progression of glaucomatous damage must be made by you eye md.
