Cardiac arrest: Most cardiac arrest episodes are due to the heart rhythm becoming inadequate to pump blood to the body. Ventricular fibrillation is commonly the abnormal rhythm associated with cardiac arrest. If effective rhythm isn't restored the patient dies.

Several: Cardiac standstill=death asystole ventricular fibrillation =wiggling but not pumping ventricular tachycardia= a little ineffective pumping may occur in the field, the person is pulse less and an ekg will help differentiate.
