Pancytopenia: This is a decrease in all the cell lines of your blood. Meaning the white count, hemoglobin and platelets. If someone is anemic, the hemoglobin is low. If someone us thrombocytopenic, the platelet count is low. If someone is pancytopenic, all cell lines are low. Hope this helps.
