Ascites: Mist likely you had a scan of your abdomen? They may be looking for cancer or an explanation for increase in abdominal size. Finding ascites means the pressure in the liver is high. This causes the fluid in the abdominal cavity to build up. It can also be caused by liver disease or alcoholism.

Acyesis : Acyesis is the absence of a pregnancy or sterility of a female. Is that consistent with the, "scan" you had? Would be helpful if you could be more specific. There are many different kinds of scans. Helpful to know modality (ct, ultrasound, mri, etc.), body part examined, and reason for exam.
