An adnexal cyst, whether in the ovary or next to it, will not prevent pregnancy. Acyesis is simply a technical way to say "no pregnancy seen". There are many reasons for failure to conceive, some involving the male. You can start with her gynecologist but you may need to consult a specialist for a complete evaluation.
