Probably not...: But if the polyp was either an adenoma or serrated polyp, it should still be removed in its entirety.

Technically yes: Technically it could, but one can estimate those chances by looking in more detail of your pathology report. If they both came back benign, that risk is extremely low. Ask your gastroenterologist for more details.
