LFT's: Can rise for a number of reasons. Certain antibiotics can be the cause. Your pcp may want to check a hepatitis panel or just recheck your enzymes in 6 weeks.

Depends: Liver enzymes can fluctuate daily depending on many causes, however I am assuming that your doctor mentioned it could be due to antibiotics which in certain cases can be the culprit. Now a days, many people have fatty liver disease which can raise your liver tests. You could also see a liver specialist if you are concerned. Recheck your labs in 6 months to see if you have a chronic elevation.

I recently received elevated liver enzymes (ALT 149, AST 63), so my doctor ordered an ultrasound. That only thing that came back was a benign hemangioma. Could this be causing my elevated enzyme levels or is it likely something else?
