A member asked:

What treatments are there for vitiligo?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many, few work well: Vitiligo is a pigmentary disorder that is considered an autoimmune (auto allergic) condition. Treatments for vitiligo have not progressed much for this reason. These treatments include phototherapy in one form or another, corticosteroids usually in topical form and various other topicals eg dovonex, (calcipotriene) Protopic and many more with less proven efficacy.
