Limited: Oral vitamins including b complex, vitamin c and Folic Acid along with ginkgo biloba are sometimes helpful in repigmentation skin. However localized vitiligo is best treated with phototherapy such as narrow band uvb. There are home units available by prescription form a dermatologist if multiple office visits is not practical.

Difficult problem: Vitiligo can be a frustrating disease due to it's cosmetic result. Treating vitiligo can be difficult. Usual treatments include topical steroid, intralesional steroid shot and or light therapy. For significant vitiligo you should consult a dermatologist who has experience in this area.
