Gym: Wait till you are 50 then join gym. That was a joke! you can absolutely join gym now and it would be a very wise investment in your personal health.

Never heard of: You are never too old to join a gym. I have 90 year old patients who go the gym every day.

Not in the least!: I started rowing on the lake at 53, and have done it for the last 9 years! by all means, join the gym. Find out what kind of classes they have, and try a variety of different offerings to see what you like. The best exercise for you is the one you'll do! good luck. Lgromkomd.

Of course not: If you have been inactive, make sure you get clearance from your doc before you get vigorously physical. Have fun, be active. Find some activity and just do it (preferably a variety of them).
