A member asked:

Are there any risks of taking an analog insulin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Assuming you have diabetes, the main risk is hypoglycemia. (low blood sugar) there can be occ. Pain at the injection site, bruising, local rash or nodule formation. Very very rarely systemic allergic symptoms can occur. They are also more expensive than human insulins, but generally better and more reliable.
